Kaitlin Campbell Steals the Spotlight with Back-to-Back Wins in Traverse City

$182,000 Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel CSI4* Grand Prix

Kaitlin Campbell lit up the ring at Flintfields Horse Park with an unforgettable double victory during the CSI4* Traverse City Spring Horse Show II, cementing her place as a serious force this summer.

After seizing the $63,000 CSI4* Welcome Stake earlier in the week, Campbell returned to the arena with fire in her reins and claimed the coveted $182,000 Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel CSI4* Grand Prix. Partnered with Castlefield Cornelious, Campbell delivered a lightning-fast jump-off round, clocking in at 35.67 seconds. The win marked a career milestone—her first-ever four-star Grand Prix title.

Friday’s momentum came aboard Questa vd Heffinck, where Campbell was one of only nine to post a fault-free effort over Peter Grant’s technical course. However, it was Sunday’s showcase that belonged to Castlefield Cornelious, a 14-year-old Oldenburg stallion by Cornet Obolensky out of a Contender mare, owned by Mirasol Equestrian. Together, the duo delivered a textbook blend of speed, scope, and precision.

With these back-to-back wins, Campbell has not only kicked off her summer season with dominance—she’s announced her arrival as a serious contender in the sport’s upper echelons.
