As of January 1, 2026, the renowned Danish rider and trainer Bo Kristoffersen will join the Ashford Farm team in Belgium. With his years of experience and in-depth knowledge, Kristoffersen will be a valuable asset to the renowned stable management of Ashford Farm.
For Denmark at championships
Kristoffersen, who is one of the most well-known riders in Denmark, has not only celebrated numerous successes as a successful rider, but has also built a great career as a trainer and team leader. During his career, he has worked for the Holsteiner Verband, where he has ridden some of the world's most famous stallions, such as Cassini I, Corofino I and Caretino. He also appeared as a team rider for Denmark in various Nation Cup competitions and led the Danish team to victory on several occasions. Kristoffersen was part of the team that was successful with Cassini I at the European Championships in Mannheim in 1997.
Experienced as a trainer
During his coaching career, Kristoffersen not only managed a stable in collaboration with Swedish rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, but was also part of Absolute Horses for many years, together with brothers Andreas and Christian Schou. In addition, he was the national coach of Denmark, where he led both juniors and seniors to success. With his sound training and methodical approach, he is known for the precise development of horses and riders.
Outstanding training center
Enda Carroll, CEO and founder of Ashford Farm, emphasizes: “Bo Kristoffersen is a great addition to our team. With his experience and attention to detail, he will make a significant contribution to the further development of our riders and horses.”
Working alongside other trainers on the team, such as Michael Cristofoletti, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, and Angelica Augustsson-Zanotelli, Kristoffersen will contribute his expertise and help ensure that Ashford Farm remains one of the leading training centers in international equestrian sports.
Bo Kristoffersen is already looking forward to his new role: “I am very excited to join the Ashford Farm team on January 1, 2026. It will be a pleasure to work with the riders and students and contribute to their continued success and outstanding results.”
