The FEI CDI3* Grand Prix Special, presented by Iron Spring Farm, brought 10 talented combinations to the Dixon Oval late in the afternoon. When the final scores came in, it was Anna Marek who rose to the top with Fayvel, a 15-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Cynthia Davilia. The pair delivered a steady, confident test that earned them 68.851% and the win.
Strong Performances from Konyot and Potasky
Hot on her heels was seasoned rider Tina Konyot aboard Grover, an 11-year-old KWPN gelding she co-owns with Earle I. Mack LLC. Their test showcased elegant one-tempi changes and a fluid connection that had them sitting in the lead, until a costly moment when Grover brushed the rail at “H,” nudging their final score to 67.021% for second place.
Rounding out the podium was Ali Potasky with her own Inxs, a 12-year-old KWPN gelding. The pair produced a harmonious effort to secure 66.255% and third place.
Marek’s Momentum Continues
With a polished performance and composure in the spotlight, Marek and Fayvel once again proved their consistency on the CDI stage.
