Laura Gaither Prevails in the $24,500 HorseFlight Jumper Classic

Laura Gaither and the 9-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding My Diamant won the $24,500 HorseFlight Jumper Classic on Sunday, the first class of the day in the Grand Prix Ring at HITS Ocala.

Charles Casey and Helda D'Elle, a 9-year-old Selle Francais mare, finished in second place.

François Lamontagne and the 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding Lacros V DL came in third.

The top three all jumped in the first half of the order.

In the field of 40, 15 advanced to the jump-off, where there were eight double-clear rounds.

Riley Delbecq with Conlamba was the fastest four-faulter in the jump-off, and came in ninth. The pair won the STX Open Speed class on Friday as the only double clear.
