November 3, 2025 at 3:10 PMBy s.wilhelm

The FEI is inviting all international dressage riders to a webinar on November 20, 2025 to present and discuss planned changes to the dressage freestyle judging system. The focus will be on the modifications to determine the level of difficulty.
Adjustment of the judging practice in focus
During the one-hour webinar, which will begin on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm (CET), the FEI, together with representatives of various specialist groups, will provide information on the background and effects of the planned adjustments.
Participants from a wide range of perspectives on the freestyle will be present: from technical experts such as Daniel Göhlen (BlackHorseOne) to representatives of the IDRC (International Dressage Riders Club), IDTC (International Dressage Trainers Club), IDOC (International Dressage Officials Club) and the FEI itself.
Practical examples and exchange with expert committees
The aim of the webinar is not only to explain the new concept for assessing the level of difficulty in the freestyle, but also to illustrate it using specific practical examples. As can be seen from the invitation, interested parties can dial in directly to the virtual session via a link provided.
When? Thursday, November 20 from 3 p.m.
