Major League Show Jumping Leg 6 Saturday Schedule

Three Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) classes are on tap for today, beginning with the $62,500 1.45m FEI 2* Grand Prix by Hermès. There are 52 entries for this class at Desert International Horse Park in Thermal, California.

Next, a field of 39 will have a go in the $62,500 1.50m FEI 5* Winning Round by Circle B Ranch.

Saturday's Grand Finale

The day culminates with the highly anticipated $750,000 1.60m FEI5* Coachella Cup Grand Prix. Last year's winner - Ashlee Bond and Donatello 141 - is not part of this year's field of 36, though the second-place finisher from last year is - Aaron Vale and the 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding Carissimo 25.

Columbia's Mark Bluman stood on the podium last year in third place and is also in today's lineup with his same mount, Ubiluc.

Laura Kraut and Balouttinue came in fourth last year. Kraut returns this year, but with Bisquetta.

In addition, Lucy Davis Kennedy and Ben 431 return this year after a fifth-place finish last year.
