Tony Stormanns Wins the Second Class on Opening Day of the Coachella Cup

Tony Stormanns of Germany piloted Surprise to victory in the $1,000 1.40m FEI2* Two Phase by ClipMyHorse.TV at Major League Showjumping Leg 6 in California. Stormanns, part of the Helios team, and his 11-year-old Zangersheide mare took the win by 0.08 seconds in the second phase, with a time of 28.38 seconds. You can find out more about Surprise HERE.

Mexico's Arturo Parada and Jaguar Fighter GO finished second with 28.46 seconds, and Aaron Vale of the U.S. came in third with Chutter du Rouet PS in 29.34 seconds, as part of the Archers team.

From the starting lineup of 47, the first 28 went double clear. The top five finishers:
