The Roadrunners secured their first victory of Season 5 on home ground at Desert International Horse Park, delivering a composed and strategic team performance as the championship race intensifies heading into the final legs of the season.

Kaitlin Campbell, Erynn Ballard, and McLain Ward steered the team through the critical moments of Leg 7. Fresh off her Individual Speed win the previous week, Ballard once again proved decisive. Riding Her Game Ball BG, she produced the fastest jump-off round of the night, stopping the clock at 43.73 seconds to put the Roadrunners firmly in a winning position.

A cornerstone of the team, Ward followed with a crucial double-clear effort aboard First Lady. His consistency under pressure proved pivotal in sending the Roadrunners through to the gold medal jump-off.

Campbell delivered the final blow when it mattered most. Aboard Cosm Castlefield Cornelious, the California native produced another double-clear round and edged Daniel Bluman by 0.81 seconds to clinch gold for the Roadrunners.

The team’s execution throughout the round generated the momentum needed to secure the Palm Springs podium and positions the Roadrunners as strong contenders as Season 5 heads toward its conclusion, with championship points still very much in play.
