Low Moor Lucky is a British-bred gelding born in 2007. Bred by Richard Dennis in North Yorkshire he is by Luidam out of a mare of unknown breeding. He was acquired seven-years ago aged from the breeder. The horse was nicknamed Lucky as he was given ‘one last chance’ to be backed at the age of nine-years-old after being ‘very, very naughty to ride away’. Lucky completed his first event aged 11. Tom is grateful to have had six horses from Lucky’s breeder including ‘two feral young horses’ who are now both eventing successfully with Tom and their new owners.
