Results Grand Slam is a stallion with a top attitude and stands out for his technique, reflexes and strength. With a total of 90 points, Grand Slam achieved the highest score of all time in a performance test and became the convincing champion. Grand Slam received a 9.5 for the jumping parts of technique and reflexes and a 9 for the jumping parts of strength, rideability & posture and talent as a jumper. He received an 8 for the canter and for posture & balance. Grand Slam is developing great. In the stallion competition as a 4 and 5 year old he jumped constantly and with good technique. As a five-year-old, this only resulted in clear rounds and a 4th place finish in the final competition standings. As a 6-year-old he was noticed at the Dutch Championships for 6-year-olds, where he showed that he was among the best of his year. Grand Slam was flawless in all rounds and took 6th place in the final standings. Grand Slam came 4th in the stallion league class Z van de Peelbergen. In 2018, Grand Slam VDL had its international breakthrough under the saddle of the British rider Alex Gill. At CH De Wolden he was already 4th in the seven-year-old category and continued this good performance later in the season. Grand Slam VDL finished 8th in the final for seven-year-old show jumpers at the KWPN Championships. At CSI Zwolle, Grand Slam VDL won the first Grand Prix victory of his career; The Cardento son won the 1.40m CSI1* Grand Prix in Zwolle. He recently made his debut at 1.50 m.
