From August, 25 to 29, the absolute highlight will be Verden International with the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, which will once again be held at the show grounds after a four-year break and last year's cancellation due to the corona pandemic. The world champions of five-, six- and seven-year-old dressage horses will be determined in exciting competitions. One step on the career ladder for aspiring dressage horses is their participation in the Nuremberg Burgpokal, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. One of the qualifying competitions for seven- to nine-year-old young Grand Prix horses will take place at Verden International. Verden International is also one of five stops in Europe for the Almased Dressage Amateurs, an international series for amateur dressage riders. The horses will compete in St. George and Inter I and the big tour in Inter II and Grand Prix in the small tour. The Herwart von Decken-Show on Monday, August 23, which will also be held within the framework of Verden International, will provide for breeding glamour.
