RIDE has returned for a new season, filled to the brim with incredible, inspiring and heart-warming stories that highlight the beautiful bond that can flourish between horse and human.
Episode 11: Highborn Horse Tales This month, Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines tenders yet more highborn horse tales from around the world. We brush shoulders with blue-blooded British Eventers on the Gatcombe Park Estate, seek out the Swedish sovereign’s steeds at Stockholm’s Royal Stables and honour the noble Norwegian Fjords that navigate Scandinavia’s snow plains.
Episode 10: Ride’s New Year’s Resolutions It’s the start of 2024, and Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines is making New Year’s resolutions: To “reach for the stars” with junior jumpers at the Maclain Finals in Kentucky, “Retreat and Conquer” with participants of an equine-assisted psychotherapy programme on Sumba Island, and “live life to the full” at the UK’s Springbridge Driving for the Disabled centre.
Episode 9: Equine Royalty This month, Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines has a regal feel. We applaud the “Princes of Peace” helping troubled youngsters overcome their hang-ups through the art of horsemanship at Tuff Therapeutic Riding programme in Canada. We’re mesmerised by the festive Musical Drive performed by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery at London’s International Horse Show, and marvel at the majesty of the Lusitanos still working the land in Portugal.
Episode 8: Supportive Steeds, Icelandic Icons & Powerful Percherons This month Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines brings you “Horsesensing”, a Kentucky-based programme that helps veterans with PTSD and recovering addicts find purpose through the principles of good equitation. We’re on the move with an Icelandic herd as they’re rounded up and delivered to their winter dwellings, and we visit Harbridge Farm in Hampshire, one of the last bastions of real horsepower, where Percherons still tend the land.
Episode 7: Saxon Steeds, Dynamic Duos & Welfare Wardens This month on Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines we showcase the skills of the Saxon steeds performing in the Moritzburg Stud Stallion Parade in Germany. We’re also creating dreams with the UK’s Dylan Ward, a plucky eight-year-old who’s passion for horses is helping fuel his fight against cancer and building bridges between equines and humans at the Irish Horse Welfare Trust.
Episode 6: Hardy Haflingers, Swiss Stars & Pint-sized Ponies This month on Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines we visit Moscarr Farm in the East Midlands, home to a hardy herd of Haflingers and the oldest UK stud of its kind. We spend time with Swiss Jumping sensation and Longines’ Ambassador Edouard Schmitz and big-up the pint-sized Shetland pony stealing people’s hearts in Germany.
Episode 5: Regal Rides, Curly Cures & Tuscan Treks This month on Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines we visit the Grand Stables at the Palace of Versailles, witnessing historic horsemanship skills that have stood the test of time. We also bow to the American Bashkir Curly – a hypoallergenic equine breed that gave hope to a hypersensitive horse lover in the UK’s Peak District - and proffer picture perfect pony trekking in the unspoilt hills of Northern Italy with Riding Tuscany.
Episode 4: Mindpower, Horsepower & Girl Power This month’s Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines promotes “Work Like a Horse” in the Netherlands, where ponies provide under-privileged children with a helping hand. We celebrate the Suffolk Punch Trust and its fight to preserve the endangered draught breed that helped build Britain, and “Advance Girl Power through Horsepower” in Los Angeles with equestrian based learning programme “Taking the Reins”.
Episode 3: Mindful, Majestic and Magical This month, Ride from FEI Originals is once again mindful of how horses help bring humans happiness. We marvel at the power of pony meditation at the Isle of Skye Trekking and Therapy centre, witness dazzling displays from the Lipizzaners at Lipica Stud in Slovenia, and home in on the healing powers of the herd at the UK’s “Learning to Listen” equine assisted teaching facility in Hertfordshire.
Episode 2: May the Horse Be With You! This month on Ride from FEI Originals: “May the Horse Be With You!” We continue to bolster the brilliant bond between equines and humans, showcasing the teaching skills of Longines Ambassador and Swiss Jumping star Jane Richard, at home at La Madonnina Equestrian Centre in Italy. We explore the therapeutic value of Vaulting with the Salt River Vaulters in Arizona and salute the sturdy steeds of the Mounted Police Division helping keep the people of South Wales safe.

We relish the relationship between rising US jumping star Ailish Cunniffe and her bay gelding Vivaldi du Theil, celebrate the neuro rehabilitation work carried out by the UK’s Calvert Trust Riding Centre, and run free with the feral Dutch Konik foals of Millingerwaard Nature Reserve.
