Four days of sports emotions, over 250 horse-and-rider combinations representing 19 countries and world-class athletes - the second round of the Strzegom Spring Open eventing competition starts on Thursday.The arenas in Morawa will host, among others – Germany’s Julia Krajewski – the current Olympic champion and last year’s silver medalist at the World Championships in Pratoni del Vivaro, her compatriot Ingrid Klimke – the two-time European champion and bronze medalist of the World Equestrian Games, as well as Dutch rider Merel Blom – the WEG team bronze medalist. The starting lists will also include home athletes, along with members of the Polish national team - Joanna Pawlak, Julia Gillmaier, Paweł Warszawski and Janek Kamiński.The competition starts on Thursday, April 20. Eight international classes in the short and long format up to the level of four stars will be played out, as well as a pony competition. During the first two days, the competitors will present themselves in the arena during the dressage test. The first jumping trials will also take place on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, the riders will compete in cross-country and showjumping.
