Work With What They Offer - Mindful Training For Young Horses
"You don't need to train it, but you can ask for it!"
This lesson with Gareth Hughes is focused on the importance of working with the natural abilities and instincts of young horses without overworking them. Garteh explains, how you can provide youngsters, like this 4-year-old, with engaging challenges that make them think and learn, rather than merely training them. He shares his expertise on how to ask for behaviors and skills in a way that fosters a strong partnership with your horse.
Gareth Hughes can already look back on more than 30 national and international titles. He went to the Nations Cup in Rotterdam 2012 with the British team, won the Bronze Medal at the FEI European Dressage Championships in Herning 2013, and competed at the World Equestrian Games in 2014.
