About Sandy Phillips:


Sandy Phillips is an internationally recognized American rider with an impressive career in eventing and dressage. She placed second at the 1981 Badminton Horse Trials and was part of the U.S. dressage team at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. She also competed for Great Britain at the 1998 World Equestrian Games in Rome, the 2006 WEG in Aachen, and the 1998 European Championships in Arnhem.

As an FEI Level 4 eventing judge and Level 3 dressage judge, Sandy officiates at top international competitions, including the 2016 Olympics. Beyond judging, she is a highly respected trainer and clinic instructor worldwide.

Sandy is known for her precise and empathetic training approach, grounded in a deep understanding of the biomechanical connection between horse and rider. Her expertise and experience make her a sought-after coach and mentor in the international equestrian community.
