Al Fursan Endurance Festival

The AlFursan Endurance Festival, organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), has successfully hosted five FEI-sanctioned editions in collaboration with the Saudi Arabia Equestrian Federation (SAEF). 

The 2026 edition, plays host to a 120km FEI 2* race and a 160km FEI 3* race, serving as preparation for the FEI 2026 World Endurance Championships.

This years course has changed to incorporate elements of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Viewers will now see riders pass by the stunning archaeological sites of Hegra and Elephant Rock.

The festival anticipates 200 riders navigating AlUla's unique desert terrain, with 30 international riders arriving seven days prior for acclimatization. Approximately 30 horses, accompanied by 1,500 riders and crew members, are expected to compete.
