Carl Hester

Carl Hester MBE is a British dressage rider competing at Olympic level. As of 15 June 2020, the FEI ranked him 23rd in the world, riding the 12-year-old gelding Hawtins Delicato. After participating in the 1990 World Championships and the 1991 European Championships, Hester participated with Giorgione in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona and became the youngest British rider to compete in an Olympic Games. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Carl Hester represented the United Kingdom in the Individual as well as the Team Dressage. He took 5th place in the Individual with Uthopia and won the gold medal with the UK dressage team.
