Strong Start in Dressage

Sydney Elliott delivered a standout performance aboard QC Diamantaire, opening the weekend with a polished 29.3 in the dressage phase to take the early lead in the CCI4*-L at The Event at TerraNova.

Confident, Forward Cross-Country

Elliott and the 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding carried that momentum onto Derek di Grazia’s cross-country track, producing a bold and confident round to hold their position at the top.

The course demanded accuracy through technical combinations and composure across long galloping stretches, but the pair delivered a smooth, penalty-free trip that showcased their experience and trust in one another.

Pressure Building Ahead of Show Jumping

Several top combinations sit close behind, poised to challenge Elliott in Sunday’s final phase. With show jumping historically influential at TerraNova, the leaderboard is far from settled.

A Proven Partnership

Elliott’s performance underscores the strength of her partnership with QC Diamantaire—whose scope, stamina, and reliability make them a formidable pair at the four-star level. Their consistency positions them as strong contenders as they head into the deciding phase.
