Stella Wasserman Rides to Victory in the $65,000 CSI2* Grand Prix at WEC Ocala

Stella Wasserman and her 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare Precious Dwerse Hagen won the $65,000 4CYTE Grand Prix FEI CSI2* after being just one of four horse-and-rider combinations of the original 40 to advance to the jump-off on Sunday at WEC Ocala's WInter Spectacular.

World no. 9 McLain Ward, who is Wasserman's trainer, finished in second place in the 1.45 meter class with I Know, a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding.

A good week for McLain Ward

Ward and I Know won the $32,000 CSI2* 1.45-meter Speed class earlier in the week. Ward also won the $32,000 1.45 meter Winning Round class with a different horse - Le Louvre 5, an 11-year-old Westphalian gelding. In addition, Ward took seventh place on a fairly new ride in Saturday's $200,000 Grand Prix FEI CSI4* (1.55m) - Jordan Molga M, a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Stella Wasserman.
