Working with sensitive horses isn't always easy ,so it's important to not make it more complicated than it has to be! During his clinic at the Showjumpers Academy in Belgium Henrik von Eckermann gives tips on how to establish a good rhythm, by finding balance in the saddle and making sure your connection to the horse is as even as possible. This way you'll be able to “let the jumps come to you” and reduce effort for you and for your horse.
Henrik von Eckermann is a swedish showjumper who has already represented his country at several championships and became team olympic champion in 2021. Until 2016 he was a rider at Ludger Beerbaum Stable, then he started his own sport stable close to Bonn in Germany.
