Fry sparks magic with Glamourdale in 's-Hertogenbosch!

The tension was palpable at the final FEI Dressage World Cup™ Western European League qualifier of the season. In 's-Hertogenbosch, Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale emerged victorious once again, securing their ticket to the Final with a perfect record of three wins out of three appearances. However, her compatriot Becky Moody and Jagerbomb came within touching distance. Belgium’s rising star Justin Verboomen wowed the crowd and finished in third place.

Becky Moody and her home-bred Jagerbomb, as well as Belgium’s Justin Verboomen with Zonik Plus, are still uncertain of their Final spots, potentially lacking the necessary points.

The Longines League of Nations™ 2025 is set to bring the world’s finest jumping nations together in a stunning series of global competitions. This month’s Ride from FEI Originals presented by Longines is going Dutch, sharing a passion for one of the most dazzling of breeds, the Friesian. We step out in style, saluting stars past, present and future of the UK’s side saddle community, and capture the essence of the horse with Canadian contemporary equine artist Vanessa Whittell.

A true embodiment of elegance and power, the 9-year-old Zonik Plus has been making waves in the dressage arena, proving himself to be a force to be reckoned with. This striking black stallion (by Zonik x Hohenstein) has quickly risen through the ranks, showcasing incredible talent, precision, and presence.

At just his second FEI Dressage World Cup™ appearance, Zonik Plus and Justin Verboomen (BEL) secured back-to-back podium finishes in 's-Hertogenbosch, claiming third place in both the Grand Prix (74.652%) and the Grand Prix Freestyle (84.160%). His effortless movement, expressive gaits, and remarkable composure have captivated audiences and judges alike, solidifying his place among the sport’s rising stars.

With his growing reputation and stellar performances, Zonik Plus is a horse to watch as he continues his journey at the top of international dressage. We can't wait to see what’s next for this exceptional stallion!

What a thrilling finish in Boekelo! The FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ Final in Boekelo has crowned this year's champions! A huge congratulations goes out to Team Ireland, who fought their way back from 6th place after dressage, with incredible performances in both the cross country and show jumping phases, to claim this Dutch victory. Despite Ireland's phenomenal win, the French team were who took home the series title after an extraordinary season. We bore witness to quite the spectacle over this past weekend with brand new World Cup™ champions being crowned in the oasis that is Riyadh. It was complete and utter Swedish domination in both the dressage and show jumping with Swedish riders taking home the title. 

The dressage saw nine-time participant of the FEI World Cup™ Final Patrik Kittel emerge victorious in the Grand Prix Freestyle aboard Touchdown, with Denmark's Nanna Merrald and Germany's Isabell Werth right behind him. Meanwhile, the show jumping had Henrik von Eckermann crowned the champion with King Edward, allowing them to hold onto their title for one more year. Von Eckermann had dominated throughout all three competitions, but second and third place experienced a little re-shuffling with Sweden's Peder Fredericson conceding the silver medal to France's Julien Epaillard. 

In a cliff-hanger of a finale to the very first Longines League of Nations™ season, Team Germany reigned supreme at the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona, Spain today where The Netherlands finished second and Sweden pipped Ireland for third place.

It was a close-fought affair with the Germans and Dutch already out in front at the halfway stage when sharing a zero scoreline but with France, Sweden and Brazil nipping at their heels when carrying just four faults into round two.
