Let's go lateral: Improving balance and collection in trot
Gareth Hughes is an experienced dressage rider and trainer. In this video he works with a 6-year-old gelding Be Mine by Belissimo M with his rider Georgia. They show the warm up with a young horse, which is all about the basics: Suppleness and stretching in balance. After this they show us how to start with a young horse towards the first later movements and how they improve the collection and upward movement of the horse with those exercises.
About Gareth
Gareth Hughes can already look back on more than 30 national and international titles. He went to the Nations Cup in Rotterdam 2012 with the British team, won the Bronze Medal at the FEI European Dressage Championships in Herning 2013, and competed at the World Equestrian Games in 2014.
