Even though it's very difficult for me, I have to part ways with my mare. Due to my studies and the move that comes with it, I'm no longer able to do justice to her potential. She is an 11-year-old Oldenburg mare. Her sire is Califax (Holsteiner) by Calido I, and her dam's sire is Gibraleon. I've had Calie since she was 4 years old, and together we've experienced everything from young horse classes (Springpferde A) to M* (125cm) and M with increasing difficulty. She makes daily work incredibly enjoyable. I've had nothing but amazing training sessions with her for years. She also enjoys hacking and is a bit of a water lover. She jumps cross-country fences like she's done it her whole life. Even small children have had a lot of fun with her in the dressage arena. In dressage, I’ve competed her up to A*–A** levels at shows, and we almost always came home with a ribbon. However, she knows dressage movements up to L level. I’ve always wished she could be pushed further because she handles higher jumps with ease (in training, we’ve jumped M**-S*, and it’s no problem for her). She’s placed in jumping competitions up to M level and has taken the gold ribbon in L several times. Our strength was in style jumping, where we frequently scored eights. She loads herself onto the trailer and stands quietly for the farrier. Overall, she’s very easy to handle. I’d love to see her go to a patient rider who appreciates her personality and enjoys her character. Since this is a tough decision for me, I’d love to see the stable where she’ll be going :) If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.
