From April 2 to 6, 2025, the FEI World Cup™ Finals will take place at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland.
The FEI World Cup™ Finals mark the grand conclusion of the FEI World Cup™ series, one of the most prestigious international competitions in equestrian sport. The series spans several months and consists of multiple qualifying events held across different regions of the world, including the Western European League, North American League, and Central European League for show jumping, as well as the Western European League, North American League, and Pacific League for dressage.
Throughout the season, riders accumulate points based on their performances in the qualifying events. By the end of the season, the top-ranked riders from each league earn their place at the FEI World Cup™ Finals, where they compete head-to-head to determine the ultimate champion in their discipline.
The Finals bring together the best dressage and show jumping riders in the world, all of whom have proven themselves through months of intense competition. In vaulting, the top individual vaulters, pas-de-deux pairs, and squads qualify based on their results from previous FEI events and international competitions.
At the Finals, the season’s best competitors face off to determine the overall FEI World Cup™ champion. In dressage, the qualified combinations compete in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle, where they showcase breathtaking routines set to music. In show jumping, the top athletes of the season take on multiple challenging rounds in pursuit of the coveted FEI Jumping World Cup™ title, tackling technically demanding courses that test precision, power, and strategy.
