Join well-known german dressage trainer Christoph Hess as he guides Philipp Hess (Hof Bettenrode, GER) and his 11-year-old gelding Blue through the intricate movements and techniques required to execute a successful pirouette in canter. As always: Preparation is Key! Christoph Hess and Philipp work on keeping the sensitive gelding in front of the driving aids while maintaining the rhythm and hind leg activity, maintaining collection and impulsion and avoiding common mistakes. While the movement is quite advanced it is important to keep your horse's comfort and happiness at the forefront.
