RIDE visits Pinfold Stables to train with China’s Alex Hua Tian ahead of the country’s debut in the Team Eventing competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, we meet the young Commoner carrying on his family’s long tradition with England’s New Forest Ponies, and we’re in Pisa, Italy for the Longines FEI Endurance World Championship.

This week, RIDE is in Kuwait taking a look at the country’s jumping community past and present, meeting the British woodsman using logging horses to minimise his impact on the environment, making a positive difference to the lives of disabled children in New Zealand with the help of therapy horses, and aiming for Tokyo with Mexican rider Francisco Pasquel.
Episode 3: STUNTS, STUDS & SANCTUARIES
On this week’s RIDE we go behind the scenes with The Devil’s Horsemen – a family run company who have been providing horses & carriages for the film industry for over 30 years, we break down the art of dressage training at Australia’s Mulawa Performance, and we follow a successful rehabilitation and rehoming story at the Mare & Foal Sanctuary in England.
On this week’s RIDE we’re taming some of New Zealand’s wild Kaimanawa horses with Kiwi adventurer Chloe Phillips-Harris, aiming for Tokyo and beyond with Swiss jumper Bryan Balsiger, and swapping machinery for horses at one of Italy’s most environmentally friendly vineyards.
Episode 5: PARA DRESSAGE DREAMS & CAMPAIGNING FOR CHANGE
On the final episode of the season we aim for a second gold medal with reigning Paralympic Champion Sanne Voets, raise awareness of inclusivity in the equestrian world with Ride Out Racism founder Reece McCook, and break down the art of eventing with British Equestrian’s Georgie Spence.
Episode 6: MINDING, MENTORING & MOUNTAIN MAGIC
This week Ride celebrates the devotion of grooms working behind the scenes at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. We visit the UK’s Windrush Equestrian Foundation where legendary Eventer Pippa Funnell mentors young riders in the ways of the horse. And scale new heights in the Canadian Rockies at Mica Mountain Ranch, a place helping humans unbridle their lives and find inner peace through ponies.
Episode 7: STORIES FROM THE STUD
This week Ride seeks out the scorching sands of Kuwait where the Arabian Horse reigns supreme, skims the surf on the Emerald Isle with the Connemara Ponies of Cashel Bay Stud and recognises the dressage stars of the future at the home of Germany’s Olympic Gold Medalist Sonke Rothenberger.
Episode 8: HORSES & HERITAGE
This week Ride travels back in time on the UK’s waterways aboard one of the last remaining horse drawn Barges. We fly high in California with Karrie Rufer, star of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup North American League, step out with the sure-footed shires as they “Relay” acrross rural England, and witness the spectacle that is the dancing Spanish stallions at the Royal Andalusian School in Herez.
Episode 9: HORSEWOMEN
This week Ride celebrates three extraordinary horsewomen and the captivating connection they have with their equine friends. We showcase exhebition work from American dressage star Sabine Schut-Kery, experience life through a lens with Poland’s fine art horse photographer Katarzyna Okrzesik-Mikolajek, and witness the holistic approach to healing in South West England with renowned trainer Connie Cox.
Episode 10: HEROES AND HEALERS
This week Ride exercises military precision with the mounts of the Household Cavalry at the British Army’s London Barracks, and sees second chances given to troubled residents at Achterhoek horse shelter in the Netherlands. We’re in the back seat with Polish driving expert Piotr Mazurek and catch up with this year’s Longines FEI Rising Star Award winner, Germany’s Greta Busacker.
