FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses

The young dressage horses are returning to Verden. From the 6th to 10th of August 2025, the world’s most talented young dressage horses will gather in Verden for the FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses. 

In this unique breeding and sport championship, national federations present their most promising 5-, 6-, and 7-year-old dressage horses in qualification rounds, small finals and big finals – all judged by an international FEI/WBFSH ground jury evaluating rideability, basic gaits, future potential and level of training. Bred for brilliance and trained for excellence, these young stars represent the next generation of top-level sport. With exceptional breeding, world-class riders, and a setting that celebrates equestrian development, this event is a highlight on the dressage calendar.
