How to ride good flying changes? "Preparation is the key", so Christoph Hess. In the video we can see Jacky (Rider at Hof Bettenrode/GER) and her mare Raida, a Riccione x Favour mare. They started the work on flying changes a couple of weeks ago and want to improve especially the uphill tendency of the changes. Often the mare likes to lean on the riders hands and yet isn't always able to show a clear and correct flying change. Christoph Hess shows them how to better prepare Raida before starting with the flying changes. The goal: improve straigthness, self-carriage and uphill tendency.
