Finding the perfect rhythm and consistency

Finding the perfect rhythm and consistency

“Come back, regroup and start again”. In this video Gareth Hughes gives tips on how to handle getting stuck as a rider and on how to best support a still green horse. One of the goals for this training session is maintaining rhythm and consistency in the horses movement, while also building up endurance. Hughes notes the importance of taking your time, being flexible with your training and building your daily work around your horse's mood. “On days he's listening work on his knowledge, on days that he's not listening work on his way of going.”
