As a foal, Freestyle was sold to Mount St John Stud (Emma Blundell) in Great Britain via the Verden auction. She was initially shown in young horse competitions by her owner until the British rider Charlotte Dujardin took over her further training and showed her at the 2018 and 2019 World and European Championships. After an injury break, Emma Blundell initially got back in the saddle and presented Freestyle at three-star level until she came into contact with the Danish rider Catherine Dufour, who has been in the mare's saddle since the end of 2023 and is on the Olympic team for Denmark 2024.
