Onyx is a beautiful, big and strong build gelding by the top stallions Franklin, Don Schufro and Sandro Hit. He is a somewhat inexperienced horse, but in our opinion he has a lot of quality and is a promise for the future. His father Franklin, inspection and performance test champion, has also reached Grand Prix level and already has produced many successful offspring in the dressage ring. His father Ampère is in 7th place of the WBFSH-Sire ranking of 2024. Both mother's father Don Schufro and grandmother's father Sandro Hit have dominated the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) for years. Don Schufro is also the father of the German dressage phenomenon Weihegold, who won Olympic Team Gold under Isabel Werth. Onyx goes back to a strong Hanoverian damline.
