Mustang Makeover 2022

Mustangs still live in the wilds of America, but their habitat is threatened and thousands of mustangs lose their freedom every year. The MUSTANG MAKEOVER rescues captive mustangs from rescue centers and gives them a chance in Europe. The horses are prepared for the flight in the USA and spend up to 140 days in Germany with previously selected trainers.

These trainers have the task of acclimating the horses to life in human hands and preparing them for a good home. In the Trainer Challenge there is no "must", only a "can" and so the horses are trained at their speed in a way that is appropriate for the horse. Some are already ridden on the MUSTANG MAKEOVER, others are still presented in hand.
