The 38th North-Rhine Westphalian elite auction so far will be held at the Westphalian Horse Centre in Münster-Handorf at 2 p.m. on Sunday, 04 October 2009. The sensational auction lot offered will include about 50 dressage horses, 20 show jumpers, five riding ponys and 5 breeding mares which are guaranteed to be pregnant. This top-class collection presents some very particular highlights. To ensure this, the Münster Handorf auction team managed to obtain the mare winning the 44th Westphalian Elite Show for 3 Year Young Rinding Horses for this auction. Its name is Brilliante v. Belissimo M-Florestan I. She also won the third place at the Westphalian Championship, and was thus recommeded for the German Federal Championship. The stallion called Licosto v. Licotus-Rosenkavalier was selected for breeding, and also won the riding horse championship organized at the Lingen Dressage Festival, and will be attracting the visitors'attention as the Westphalian vice-champion in Warendorf. Among the three year old horses, La Nobless v. Laudabilis-Beltain became the Westphalian championess of the 2009 Westphalian Elite Show. As a matter of course, she is also expected at the start in Warendorf. The three other participants in the Federal championship included in this auction lot are Daimon´s Dream von Damon Hill-Florestan I, Real Fascination von Real Diamond-Ehrentusch and Sonnenkönigin v. Sandro Hit-Ferragamo.
The show jumpers present included some first class horses who have tournament experience and have already achieved victories. Jumping superstar Cornet Obolensky (Marco Kutscher/GER) is represented with 35 horses at the federal championship in Warendorf, and will provide 5 (!) auction candidates alone. International cracks Canturo and For Pleasure also send auction candidates.
