Meanwhile, this event has become an institution! The 2012 International Dressage and Show Jumping Festival with the FEI World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden from August 1-5 will again be opened with a breeding event: The best three-year-old Hanoverian mares will compete at the Herwart von der Decken-Show, and they regularly delight the audience from all over the world with impressive type and quality of movement.
And then the sport competitions on three different courses: A special attraction will be the World Championship arena. Whether qualification, small finals or the real highlights, the finals for five- and six-year-old dressage horses: lots of fans and officials, craning their heads, always crowd around the festively decorated arena. Ten international showjumping classes will be held with the highlight, the Verden Championships on Sunday, carrying prize money of Euro 25,000 €. The best youngsters over the poles will be determined at the Hanoverian Show Jumping Championships. The Grand Prix Special is offered for the dressage riders, and as usual, Verden will be qualifying venue for the Final of the Nuremberg Cup.
The event is complemented by the Saturday Evening Show and the exhibition.
