2012-11-22T16:00:00+01:00 - 2012-11-24T16:30:00+01:00 •
Germany • Vechta
The collection of stallions from the "Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes" (OL) shines with around 40 stallions of exquisite quality. A brother of the main premium winner, San Amour by Sandro Hit-Plaisir d’Amour-Figaro, whose offspring are presently THE sensation, will be among those parading in the Vechta licensing ring. Another highlight in the collection is a strong type young stallion by Gribaldi/Trakehner-Clavecimbel-Ferro with awesome movements who has the potential for a glorious future.
The Olympic medal winner Desparados, the champion stallion-maker Fürst Romancier, the Grand Prix Trakehner stallion Gribaldi – the sire of the legendary Totilas, as well as the bronze medal winner of the World Championships in the class for six-year olds, Sir Donnerhall II, will each be sending three sons to the licensing ring in Vechta, the largest number by a single stallion. Strongly represented on the sire’s side is the ‘S’ line of the line founding Sandro Hit which has been famous in Oldenburg for generations. There is also a noticeable influence by the Olympic star sire Donnerhall and the ‘F’ line, marked by the trademark stallion Florestan, also plays a large role.

The  Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International (OS) will be presenting around 30 top quality stallions. There will be a direct half-brother of Gert-Jan Bruggink’s current winner of the Grand Prix in Kiel, Cash Junior, by Chin Quin-Landadel-Servus. A  Monte Bellini-Cornet Obolensky-Laurentianer son from the direct dam line of the sport horse-maker, Up to Date, who wins international ribbons under Michael Whitaker, should also impress you with his unlimited ability.
On the sire’s side, Lordanos has the lion’s share with three sons at this year’s licensing. Balou du Rouet, Corlensky G, Cornet‘s Stern and Quintender will each be sending two talented sons to Vechta. In keeping with the present sport horse trend in show jumping, there is also a clear dominance by the ‘C’ line on the sire’s as well as the dam’s side in the current lot of stallions.
