The Balve Optimum at the castle of Wocklum is one of the most traditional equestrian events in Europe. Once per year the world of equestrian sport comes together at this venue and can observe that Balve is “Germany at its best”. The 4-day-event is happy to receive all this national and international attention since more than 65 years and this thanks to the unique symbiosis of tradition and world-class sport. Balve Optimum is one of the largest and most prestigious sport events of this region and they are proud of that.
