The Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club, the first equestrian club in the UAE, was established in 1982 at the initiation of H.H. Shk. Dr. SULTAN BIN MOHAMMED AL QASSIMI, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
The Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club is located on the Al Dhaid Road (Sharjah Airport Road) at Interchange 6. The comprehensive establishment covers an area of 3000km2 square kilometers and is home to the one of the largest indoor riding facilities in the Middle East.
The Club has been at the forefront of encouraging this sport in the UAE. The Sharjah Racetrack, the first constructed to global specifications& organize first official race in UAE 1983.
