A Westphalian-bred chestnut gelding bred from successful parents, Zineday's sire, Zindedine, won and placed in numerous Grand Prix competitions in Paris, London, Shanghai, Zurich and St.Gallen with Ludger Beerbaum in the saddle and Zineday's dam, LB Paola, was herself highly successful under Ludger Beerbaum and Hendrik von Eckermann. She also collected victories and placings up to S*****. Zineday himself was Vice-Bundeschampion of six-year-old show jumpers under Christian Kukuk and was then highly successful in international show jumping under Phillip Weishaupt with wins and placings including victory in the Grand Prix of Frankfurt and the European Championship silver medal in Milan. Nominated with Philip Weishaupt for the German team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris
