Sired by KUMANO out of our proven mare KORO, this filly shows exceptional promise as an all around or specialize in the hunter ring. She has an ambitious personality, but is a pleasure to work with. Freya is well handled and stands well to groom and bathe, stands for the farrier and loads easily into the trailer. With her looks and temperament it is easy to spot her sire KUMANO. KUMANO, sired by KANNAN has had a successful career in the FEI division showing in 1:45 and 1:50 at Spruce Meadows and RMSJ with many wins and placings. He has a great work ethic and stamps his foals both with his physical qualities and his wonderful train ability and temperament. His offspring are now competing successfully in the jumper ring. Freya’s dam KORO, is a sweet and correct mare who was destined for the ring, but due to a unfortunate accident as a youngster she is now producing quality foals that carry on her exceptional movements. KORO is by DOUGLAS, a powerful, charismatic stallion who combines the best of Belgian and Holsteiner lines, width enormous scope and spectacular technique. Douglas competed successfully in the international 1:40m and 1:50 m classes with rider Conor Swail, unfortunately a serious injury ended his sports career. Douglas’s offspring are jumping outstandingly at the highest level eventing, with Fernhills Pimms and Pennlands Douglas both eventing at CCI4 level, plus several sons and daughters at CC1/CIC2-3* level. KOROS dam is by CHEOPS Z sired by CRACK. CHEOPS Z is a handsome stallion who is a pleasure to work with and has impressive scope over fences. Cheops was bred by the Okanagan Showjumping stables in Lumby B.C. and is registered with the Zangersheide Stud book. Cheops resides and trains at Tyndal park.
