The sire, Chacco Blue, was born in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and made a career at the Schockemöhle stables finishing third in the Grand Prix of Aachen under Andreas Kreuzer. From 2017 to 2022, he was the undisputed number one in the WBFHS show jumping sire rankings for six years in a row thanks to offspring such as the individual Olympic champion Explosion W (Ben Maher). The dam Jewel van't Heike is a daughter of Nabab de Rêve, who won team bronze for Belgium at the World Championships in Jerez under Philippe Le Jeune. Eight years later, the same rider became individual world champion in Lexington with Nabab's son Vigo d'Arsouilles and won team bronze again. The Belgian team also included Jos Lansink and Valentina van't Heike, the full sister of the dam of Cabablue LB Z. Valentina in turn has already produced five licensed stallions, her son Epleaser van't Heike won the Nations Cup in Aachen under Christian Ahlmann, and her currently six-year-old son Chaudfontaine JL Z by Chacco Blue is regarded as a top talent.
