Handorfer Pony Special
Main licensing for pony stallions
2nd auction for sports ponies
After
a successful debut last year, the new edition of the auction for sports ponies will
take place at the Westphalian Equestrian Center on December the 1st.
The double Bundeschampion Nuno by Nabucco R / R Van Gogh (breeder: Christel
Noltmann Kroger) was the highest priced pony at the last auction.
Around 25 strictly selected top dressage and jumping ponies will be auctioned
on the occasion of the main licensing for ponies. Interested parties will have
the opportunity this weekend to see an extraordinary selection of outstanding
stallions, highly successful sport ponies and non-licensed youngsters.
The
main licensing for small horses starts on Saturday the 30th
November. At 9 am over 60 stallions will be presented on hard ground in front
of the licensing commission. Besides 32 riding pony stallions, 12 Shetland pony
stallions have the second biggest allocation. Furthermore 11 Haflinger and
Edelbluthaflinger will be presented. The winning stallion Carlos Cassini of
2009 represents the biggest crop with 6 candidates.
After the second inspection on Saturday afternoon (free running, free jumping
and walk) the third inspection on Sunday morning will make the final licensing
decision. On Sunday afternoon the auction for licensed and non-licensed pony
stallions as well as Haflinger stallions takes place at 3 pm including the
auction for sports ponies.
