Hamburger Derby 2013

One like none – German Showjumping- und Dressage-Derby Hamburg

Hamburg in the focus of the equestrian world: from May 9 to 13, 2013 the Hanseatic city will be the host for one of the most exclusive and remarkable events of the international equestrian sports. The Deutsche Spring- und Dressur-Derby which will be presented by Tchibo, attracts sportspeople from all over the world, every year it entices more than 70.000 spectators and it spreads real country flair.
The DKB-Riders Tour and the Global Champions Tours will have a stage at this event. The dressage riders will change their horses – the U25 participants and the pony riders – and they will show piaffe and passage on a high level.
The jumping riders and their horses have to complete a course of 1230 prestigious meters, 17 obstacles with 26 jumps... No easy job!
In 2012, Nisse Lüneburg won the Jumping Derby for the first time and Hubertus Schmidt also gained his first victory in the Dressage Derby.
