287 Hanoverian Foals Put Up For Auction
A special kind of foal pleasure  
The 38th Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction will be held in Verden from August 17 to 19. The youngest Hanoverian futurity prospects will be offered for sale, bringing a touch of Olympic atmosphere to Verden. The collection features 287 foals in total, 107 fillies and 180 colts. 19 broodmares, aged two to six, complement the collection.  
118 different stallions send their progeny to the Elite Auction with the Celle state stud stallion Don Index on top of the statistics with twelve offspring. There is a large number of foals whose sires were particularly successfull in competitions. The high-quality collection of broodmares provides a wide range of different demands. The three-year-olds are all highly awarded state premium mares or candidates, all bred to modern sires. The presentation of some of the auction foals on the occasion of the International Dressage and Show Jumping Festival, held in Verden from August 1 to 5, offers first insight into the collection.  

It is a tradition that the foals and broodmares will be presented on the outdoor arena, the auction in the Niedersachsenhalle. The triangle with tent stands and catering invites for a special kind of foal pleasure.
