in Hamburg / Germany
Once again Hamburg is excitingly awaiting the German Jumping and Dressage Derby, presented by Tschibo, on 17 – 20 May 2012.
There is no other event like this for participants and spectators. Every year, there is this special atmosphere, when the qualification classes let us expect which horses and riders could win the German Jumping Derby on Sunday. Moreover the German Jumping Derby is also a stage for the international DKB Riders Tour. And riders from all over the world are going to compete in the only German stage of the Global Champions tour in two rounds and a jump-off.
Top class sport in a series, this is the international event in Hamburg – Klein Flottbeck. The Dressage stadium is going to be densely surrounded when the three riders will compete in the finale of the German Dressage Derby and change their horses. Change is “hip” this weekend - the Pony riders and the generation U25 are going to celebrate their finale with a horse change as well. Who will be the brilliant winners in the Derby park? Andre Thieme won in 2011 for the third time with Nacorde, Kathleen Keller became the youngest Dressage Derby winner ever while being only 21 years old.
