The team of the Holsteiner Verband Vermarktungs- und Auktions GmbH has selected around 70 foals, including a handful of dressage prospects. These hopeful talents will be presented on August 17 at the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle at the elite foal auction.
And there's everything there to make the breeder's and rider's heart beat faster. Starting with Balou du Rouet and Big Star, through Clarimo, Colman, Cornet Obolensky, Diamant de Semilly, I'm Special de Muze, Halifax van het Kluizebos, Livello, Numero Uno to Van Gogh and Zirocco Blue - so much for international jumping blood. But of course this includes the current figurehead of the Holstein breed, Casall v. Caretino. Of course, he and his sons are not to be missed at a foal auction in the land between the seas. As was shown recently at the Holstein Horse Show in Elmshorn, Casall, Cascadello I, Casaltino and Casalito are the measure of all things - both at the State Championships and at the Verband Mare Show. And as if that wasn't already Holstein has much more to offer: His junior sires, who are proving themselves more and more in sport. Here are just a few examples: Central Park, Crack, Del Arko, Million Dollar, Origi d'O, Unlimited and United Way.
A small but fine lot of five dressage foals is also part of the game. They come from Goldball, Millenium, Quantum Leap and Secret by Sezuan, who will represent the German colours at the World Championship of Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo at the beginning of August.
