in Lingen / Germany
As in previous years, this international event is one of the shows that national coaches recommend to the squad riders. A fine range of international locations with perfect conditions. Everyone, who wants to be in the discussion about Nations Cups and European Championships should seize Lingen as a "catwalk".
Let's think about the great classes last year: Laura Bechtolsheimer from Great Britain showed that she was in excellent form, which was shortly after demonstrated at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky with Mistral Hoijris. Isabell Werth fascinated the audience with a great collection of horses of different age and level. Anky van Grunsven let dressage be dressage and came with a western horse.
Lingen's International Dressage Festival was a great location in many ways and a real catwalk for Championship candidates. The organizators did their best: from amply stables to warm-up arena and dressage rings - everything was immaculate and horse-friendly. For this reason, from 19th to 22nd of May, the area around the Emslandhalle will be an important center for dressage, a meeting place for medal winners and future stars - the stage is open for both of them - for example the Lingener Youth Price, the Linus Lingen Price for the very young or the Team-Freestyle class A.
Lingen's dressage highlight is a "must have" for fans of dressage sport and those, who wand to become one of them - full of sportive highlights letting us look forward to upcoming championships, fantastic horses and great emotions... International Dressage Festival from 19th to 22nd of May 2011
