4 February: Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH Stallions Presented in Neumünster
The presentation of the stallions stationed by the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH, Elmshorn hosted at the Holstenhall in Neumünster will begin at 2.30 p.m. on 4 February. This year, Emile Hendrix is to comment on the stallions along with Norbert Boley. Listening to the Dutchman’s impression is going to be interesting considering the great knowledge and experience of the former international jumping rider turned horse trader. And all those who have followed the Neumünster stallion presentations over the past years know to expect a wealth of tips and suggestions from the experts how breed the stallions. The stallion parade is presented by Carsten Sostmeier again. In a time-honoured approach, the presentation will begin with the free jumping of the young stallions. Then there will be a reunion with the celebrated 2016 champion stallion, Unlimited by Uriko, and the second reserve champion, Clarksville by Cascadello I, along with their contemporaries Castle Creek by Casall, and Denton by Diamant de Semilly, as well as Del Arko by Tsunami de Hus, a stallion recently licensed in Elmshorn. Later on, these stallions, produced by Kornelia Kindermann, are to be shown under saddle as well. A particular highlight is the in-hand presentation of the mature stallions, featuring Cancara, the Elmshorn stallion stable’s only Cassini I son, Livello by Limbus and Conquest by Contender. Nekton by Nimmerdor and Larimar by Lavall II will be attending the presentation from Marbach main and state stud. “Blood as a recipe for success“: In addition to Armand and Ibisco, another TB sire is made available to the breeders this year, as the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH recently succeeded in purchasing Fragonard. The Dashing Blade son is to stand for live cover at Hanno Köhncke’s Badendorf facility after having attracted the attention of the Neumünster crowd in November with his licensed son FreeLancer, who is to attend the stallion presentation as well.
The course jumping presentation, the obvious highlight of every stallion presentation, schedules four stallions from Rolf-Göran Bengtsson’s yard, with Clarimo (Ask), having achieved excellent international results last season, as well as his son Crunch presented by the “boss” himself, whereas Casaltino by Casall and Quibery by Quintero, two new arrivals at Breitenburg, will perform over the jumps under Bart van der Mart. Adagio de Talma by Lamm de Fetan is coming to Neumünster from the Czwalina stable on Fehrmarn island, Sollwittfeld-based sisters Beeke and Teike Carstensen will take Lenett by Loran and Quiran by Quirado to Neumüster. Lamaze is publicly presented for the first time by Christan Hess. The Lasino son is accompanied by Casalito by Casall, a stallion celebrating first international achievements in the youngster tour under his Boostedt-based rider. The four-year-old stallions publicly performing over the jumps under saddle for the first time include among others 2014 reserve champion stallion, Catch by Colman, Cruseon by Casquetto, Lenair by Lenett and Unikato by Uriko. One year older is Million Dollar (by Plot Blue), who has been in hot demand for breeding last season and is to perform over the jumps as well. Always welcome at the Holstenhall is Diarado by Diamant de Semilly. The celebrated 2007 champion stallion has definitely asserted his genetic potential by producing as much as 37 licensed stallions and with life offspring earnings amounting to more than 215,000 euros. His jumping a course at S level along with, among others, Uriko by Untouchable and Clicksem by Cardino is to be the crowning finale of the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH stallion presentation.
