From October 16–19, 2025, Le Lion d’Angers will host the world’s most talented 6- and 7-year-old horses at the FEI WBFSH Eventing World BreedingChampionship for Young Horses – Le Lion d'Angers. Taking place as part of the iconic Mondial du Lion, this year’s edition marks its 40th anniversary – combining top-level eventing sport with the future of young event horse breeding.
The world’s most promising horses compete in a three-phase championship across dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. Breeders, riders, and federations from all over the world use this event to showcase their future champions in international young eventing sport. Qualification is governed by official FEI standards, ensuring a field of truly exceptional quality.
