Keeping your horse straight: Working towards skinny fences

Teaching horses to confidently jump skinny fences is not an easy task! Owen Cooper shows us how to build up the horse's focus to make skinny fences easier. The tricky part about skinnys is making sure you're not too fast, while keeping forward momentum to ensure that your horse can stay straight above the jumps. Another tipp: stopping straight after jumping a fence to maintain attention. This way the horse learns to wait for you and your directions.
