Gallop the Globe – Episode 5: Wellington
In this dazzling episode of Gallop the Globe, Show Host and Rider, Carly Rein, transports viewers to the heart of American equestrian sport: Wellington, Florida, home of the legendary Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). From premier hunter and show-jumper classes to rings filled with both world-class Olympians and passionate beginners, Carly showcases why WEF truly is the place for all things equestrian — whether you’re taking your first steps in the saddle or competing at the highest level.
Follow Carly through a day in the life as she competes in the hunter ring, giving viewers an insider’s look at the prep, the pressure, the excitement, and the magic of showing at one of the most prestigious horse shows in the world.
After the competition, Carly takes you beyond the show grounds to explore her favorite Palm Beach and Wellington travel recommendations — from luxury shopping destinations to high-end dining, hidden gems, and the stunning, crystal-clear beaches of the Atlantic. It’s the perfect blend of sport, style, and sunshine.
The 2026 Season of WEF is gearing up and we're excited to share our suggestions for participating. Vibrant, inspiring, and full of that signature Palm Beach energy, this episode is a must-watch for riders and travelers alike.

Breeding Legends: Comme il faut
Experience the extraordinary story of Comme il faut, a horse who shone not only through his sporting achievements but also his unique character and breeding success.
With Olympic champions as parents — Cornet Obolensky and Ratina Z — it was clear from the start that Commi was destined for greatness. He began his training in 2007 at the Vornholt Stallion Station. Initially approved, but not in the premium ring, Hubert Vornholt remarked, “We’ll roll up the field from behind.” And Commi quickly proved this was the right approach.
With impressive victories like the Rolex Grand Prix in Brussels 2018 and a team silver medal at the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam under Marcus Ehning, Commi set new standards. As a sire, his offspring continue to excel in international top sport.
After his retirement in 2021, he was meant to settle at Zhashkov Stud in Ukraine, but the conflict there brought him back to the Vornholt Stallion Station, where he now lives with the family of the late Hubert Vornholt.
Discover the touching story of Commi, a world-class horse who has already cemented his legacy.
